The Golden Lion, St.Ives
This invesitgation was carried out with Tom, Emma and Greg from Q103 Radio. We were asked to join them on a Halloween Special Paranormal Investigation at The Golden Lion in St. Ives.
On this investigation, there was not a great deal of glass movement witnessed. At first it did seem incredibly flat, however as the night progressed thigs started livening up!
After finishing a vigil, we were having a break in a rest room. Right before Gregs, a member of WTFWT and my own eyes the bath room door closed on it's own. We then opened the door again, it then shut of it's own accord.. We looked for natural explanations like a draft, someone else in the next room causing vibrations, but nothing we found made the door opened and close on it's own. The landlord of the pub in the morning told us that a spirit is often seen standing in that very door way..
When we visit most locations, I like to sit in a quiet place on my own and tune in to the energies that are in that location. I tried this in the infamous room 14. Immediatly whilst sitting on the bed I was shown the residual energy of recent past a guest at the Public House being awoken in the middle of the night to be confronted with someone in spirit sitting at the end of their bed. I couldn't determine exactly what the story was behind the spirit sitting there, but the images and feelings were strong. This also was confirmed as true by the Public House's landlord.
Whilst the team were attempting glass divination, I sat out as usual and tried tuning into the energies that were in the room. I was picking up on the spirit of a man standing around us. He told me a lot of information about himself and what he was doing at the Public House.
