How does a spirit 'talk' to you?
It is very difficult for me to distinguish between what is spirit and what is real life. The first time I ever experienced clairaudience on investigation was extremely bizarre. I was down in the cells on location with a team member from WTFWT and after calling out and asking for a spirit to make themselves known I could hear a voice talking back to me. For me, it was like listening into a conversation.. I kept asking the other person with me if they could hear the voices as well.. Anyway, I repeated what I was hearing and after researching on the information I relayed found it to be true. The majority of the time however, I get information via my spirit guide.
Can't you just research the history?
Quite simply yes I could. It would be so easy to look up the location on the internet and find all the history of the place, but that would not give anyone the proof they need in the spirit world that I know is there. As much as I believe, I will never force anyone else onto my beliefs nor will I fabricate anything to make it seem better than it is. There have been instances when I have been doing a live radio investigation and absolutely nothing came through. I admit that it was flat and later on was told by someone who worked there that there hasn't been any reports whatsoever of any activity or spirits there. If I researched the information, it makes a mockery of everything I do, plus my memory is awful I'd forget it anyway!
Wher has been your favourite place to investigate?
So many of the places we have investigated have had such different stories to tell, it is so fascinating for me to experience them that it's difficult to put one above another.
What is your favourite method of communication away from mediumship?
Unfortunatly I don't find glass divination very useful unless it is used in the most constructive way. If someone knows the history of the location, they should not be involved in the glass divination, they should be away from the table and asking random questions, not questions that lead to the answer they already know. I believe in the paranormal, afterlife and spirit world but I don't agree with people faking it to try and prove it!
Personally, I don't like using tools as it were on investigations. If I'm not picking up on anything, I am quite happy to be sat on my own somewhere with a camcorder calling out.
In which location have you picked up the most activity?
This is a very difficult one for me to answer, as I work on two different sides on investigations it's a bit awkward. For the mediumship side some of the investigations we have been on have held some fantastic residual energy but we don't experience any paranormal activity and vice versa.
When is the most active time for spirit communication?
Allegedly between the hours of 2-6 in the morning are supposed to be the most active time for spirits, as this is the timeframe for when most living beings pass over. For me, if the spirit wants to communicate, they won't wait until it's dark or a certain time, if they want to come through they will.
Granted though, some rather interesting footage we have caught has occured during those hours!
Does meditation help?
Well for me, it definatly did! I didn't believe in mediumship at all until I was doing meditation. At first I would have said it was by chance that I met my spirit guide through regression but I know now this is what I am supposed to be doing. I found meditation away of escaping everything, a way to get away from the normal everyday life and now it has completely changed my views and opinions on so many things!
Have you ever been scared of a spirit?
There has only been one location where I have felt incredibly uneasy. I was communicating with a non to pleasant spirit, he was telling me about himself then all went flat very quickly. A team member who was involved in the seance asked what crime he committed to be down there and no sooner than the words left his mouth, my chest felt like it was being stabbed. I felt the sensation of a stab wound to my chest for a good while after we had left that area of the location.
What is opening up and closing down?
There are various methods different psychics and mediums use to open up and close down. In the coming months I will be uploading various different techniques that have helped me on my meditation page. When I open myself up, I am protecting myself, pushing out my energy forcefield and am trying to draw spirits closer to me to make contact.
Closing down is a similar process except I am reversing it.
Have you ever been possessed?
I have never been possessed. This is something I have been convinced either way if it is possible. I have never come across it in my line of work as a medium but state firmly that I never have.
What is residual energy?
Residual is an imprint into the fabric of a building that replays a scene or event that has taken place in the past. I see residual energy through the form of clairvoyance. I see the scene being replayed and look further in to see what else is happening. It is very straight forward for me, just close my eyes, tune in to the energy and watch what is happening!
